Close to Harley Street in Central London, 25 and 27 Queen Anne Street have been sensitively combined and redeveloped to create 1,600m2 of new high quality offices. The scheme incorporates the existing façade yet maintains airy ceiling heights as a result of a super slim floor construction.
The low energy environmental approach combines chilled ceilings and displacement ventilation and uses the thermal mass of floor slabs to mitigate heat gain. Vertical circulation and toilets are meticulously configured and detailed in a compact hardwood encased core that maximizes the spatial efficiency of office floorplates. A new façade to the rear wraps a small south facing courtyard.
